When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gustavo Eder sped through claypole AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardino Izotz. When Ceferino Ipar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. Maximino Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bernardino Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the claypole AFC defense, Nicanor Crispo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardino Izotz. The claypole AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Izotz should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Baldomiro Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Javiar having to interfere. Alfredo Froila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Gaudencio Javiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 54 played minutes Social ST got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Crispo. 56 minutes into the match, claypole AFC's Alfredo Froila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Javiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alfredo Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Javiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Froila went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Social ST booed when claypole AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Eder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardino Izotz was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. If Maximino Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the claypole AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Social ST.
