When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Patxi made a kick off. Augusto Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Lastur in the 54th minute of play forced San lorenzo's goalkeeper Epifanio Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Anastasio James could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Simon Crescencio however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Calvino in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Vigil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Froilan Patxi struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Simon Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San lorenzo. In the 100thth minute of the game Fernando Calvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San lorenzo's Epifanio Vigil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
