Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) Fernando Calvino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Ulises Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Rufo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Simon Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Rufo in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Araoz in the 13th minute of play forced Matambre's goalkeeper Simon Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Simon Crescencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gavino Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Encrucijada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Araoz couldn't finish the play. Paulo Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Calvino in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Araoz in the 24th minute of play forced Matambre's goalkeeper Simon Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Encrucijada's Paulo Petrigai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Encrucijada from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Matambre booed when Encrucijada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Claudio Jokin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Matambre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Jokin couldn't finish the play. Simon Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Rufo in the 47th minute of the match. The Matambre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Encrucijada were winning 0-1.

Simon Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Rufo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Encrucijada's Gavino Araoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Crescencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 57 played minutes Matambre got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Jokin. Gavino Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Jokin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Matambre's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Rufo came free, but Simon Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encrucijada. Encrucijada played a much better game than Matambre and deserved their victory. The Matambre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
