An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Patxi in the 16th minute of play forced claypole AFC's goalkeeper Bernardino Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, San lorenzo's Epifanio Vigil got control of the ball when Alfredo Froila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Froilan Patxi struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bernardino Izotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San lorenzo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Oier made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in claypole AFC's zone, Froilan Patxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Izotz came out of the goal and Froilan Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Anastasio James got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernardino Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Oier in the 62nd minute of play forced San lorenzo's goalkeeper Epifanio Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. claypole AFC's Baldomiro Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Oier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Vigil was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Alfredo Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Vigil having to interfere.
