Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Urtsin in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bonifacio Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Havier in the 10th minute of play. Dionisio Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Pancho having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Emesto during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Arano AFC booed when Los Cardales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benito Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Dionisio Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Rafael Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Los Cardales's Silverio Gartzea got a free kick in the 35th minute. Benito Urtsin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Havier in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Pancho saved Los Cardales from getting behind. Dionisio Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Urtsin made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cardales's zone, Dionisio Havier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Pancho came out of the goal and Dionisio Havier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonifacio Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Havier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Pancho made a huge save. If Benito Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Pello hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Silverio Gartzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Cardales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arano AFC the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Los Cardales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Gartzea to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Havier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Arano AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Arano AFC's Benito Urtsin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bonifacio Pancho. That made the score 0-2 after 90 minutes of play. 97 minutes into the game, Pedro Corderro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arano AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Cardales the free kick. A collision led to Arano AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Pedro Corderro hit a great ball.
