Evelio Dalmau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Erasto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Filiberto Orlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River.P's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Cardales the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of River.P:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Cardales:s goal. Eliseo Bordat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Benicio Erasto made a huge save. Silvestre Marcones hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Eliseo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benicio Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Silvestre Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Cardales's goalkeeper Bonifacio Pancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. River.P's Benicio Erasto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save River.P from getting a goal against them. Evelio Dalmau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Erasto having to make a save. Benicio Erasto was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Evelio Dalmau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evelio Dalmau really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Beremundo made a kick off. Ezequiel Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Pancho having to interfere. If Eliseo Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Erasto came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Cardales's Eliseo Bordat. But to his dismay, Eliseo Bordat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Daniel Hats charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Hats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Daniel Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88thth minute of the game Evelio Dalmau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River.P's Benicio Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. River.P's Benicio Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Dalmau in the 92nd minute of play. Eliseo Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Erasto having to interfere. After having played for 98 minutes, Ezequiel Beremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River.P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Beremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Cardales's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
