Spectators: 7047 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fidel Montay kicked off to start the match. Honorio Virila's late challenge caught a Los Cardales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Virila helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Thames getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Honorio Virila hit a great ball. Thames's Samuel Macerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Thames from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cardales's zone, Eriberto Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Pancho came out of the goal and Eriberto Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Rene Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thames's Eriberto Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Donzel hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Evelio Dalmau reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Macerio. The goal made the score 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Evelio Dalmau made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Thames defense, Evelio Dalmau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Macerio. The Thames fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Macerio should have stopped the shot. Bonifacio Pancho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amador Javiar. Fidel Montay struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Bonifacio Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thames. If Fidel Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Emesto during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Eulalio Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Bordat in the 77th minute of the match. Eriberto Dalmau in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bonifacio Pancho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fidel Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Pancho having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Los Cardales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Blasi to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Eriberto Dalmau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bonifacio Pancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 92nd minute, Eriberto Dalmau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Eliseo Bordat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Macerio was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Los Cardales were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Thames for a fine match.
