The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Blas Celino's late challenge caught a Joker F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Celino helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes CLUB DEL FERNET got a freekick which was hit by Blas Celino. 19 minutes into the game, Nicolas Criston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joker F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLUB DEL FERNET the free kick. Nicolas Criston kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Daniel Evangelista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adan Bordat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Adan Bordat came out of the goal and Nicolas Criston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeronimo Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Cefero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Leobardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Higinio Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CLUB DEL FERNET players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Joker F.C were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeronimo Leobardo to strike the kick off in the second half. CLUB DEL FERNET's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Evangelista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 98 minutes, Higinio Fertus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB DEL FERNET's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Fertus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Joker F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
