Ramon Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Domingos Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Pirané got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Gonsalve. Domingos Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Rioja in the 11th minute of play. Marcos Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Lopes having to interfere. Ramon Rioja struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Domingos Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tocol AFC. Ramon Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Lain having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Pirané's Santiago Perfecto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Segundo Lain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prospero Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Lain having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Tocol AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Rioja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Ramon Rioja came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tocol AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Rioja couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Rioja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Segundo Lain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Gregory went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. David Abeita charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Abeita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Tocol AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Abeita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Rioja in the 73rd minute of play forced Pirané's goalkeeper Domingos Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirané were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tocol AFC for a fine match.
