Campo Grande's Amador Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Senin in the 11th minute of play. Aristides Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amador Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Aristides Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Distiratsu during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Distiratsu to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes of play, KOMATZU FC's Angel Javiar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, KOMATZU FC's Angel Javiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Campo Grande's zone, Angel Javiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Lopes came out of the goal and Angel Javiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 played minutes Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Gorri. If Angel Javiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Senin struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Amador Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOMATZU FC. Eusebio Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fermin Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KOMATZU FC's Placido Clementi suffered a concussion after 47 minutes and had to leave the field. Amado Escobar charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Escobar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angel Javiar to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Frasquito charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Campo Grande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Escobar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 minutes of play, KOMATZU FC's Angel Javiar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 96 played minutes Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Gorri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Javiar in the 98th minute of play forced Campo Grande's goalkeeper Amador Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KOMATZU FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
