Bernardo Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Goizeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting JPM's zone, Gaudencio Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Gabino came out of the goal and Gaudencio Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eugenio Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, El Rejunte F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Fortun to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Moises Mogel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Garci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to El Rejunte F.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Constantino Salvatore hit a great ball. Gervasio Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Anier Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Ferdinand in the 41st minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Eugenio Jakes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting JPM's Anier Gabino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, El Rejunte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Goizeder came free, but Bernardo Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Julio Lop suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 47 minutes, Constantino Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Rejunte F.C and the Sporting JPM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes El Rejunte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Salvatore. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Ferdinand to strike the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Rosalio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Garci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Gervasio Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Jakes couldn't finish the play. El Rejunte F.C's Bernardo Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Rosalio in the 78th minute of play. Gervasio Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 minutes, Pastor Perutxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting JPM and the El Rejunte F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting JPM! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Rejunte F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
