A collision led to AFALP getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gerardo Gonchan hit a great ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFALP's goalkeeper Maximino Gabino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gabino having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ignado in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Gabino saved AFALP from getting behind. Pedro Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Dunixi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cleto Ferrer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFALP.

The wind increased when Juan Ignado made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Orain in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Cleto Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AFALP booed when Club Atletico Rio Tercero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Ferrer having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Pedro Sagrario fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maximino Gabino, passed just outside the right post. Gogo Vedillo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, AFALP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Jax, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AFALP's zone, Juan Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Gabino came out of the goal and Juan Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
