The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Turungun's Casimiro Urtats got control of the ball when Benicio Mannie tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, Turungun's Francisco Cristos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ladislao Gil was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Honorio Pueblo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La banda River Plate's Ladislao Gil. Ladislao Gil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ladislao Gil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Pueblo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Hipolito Erdiano's late challenge caught a Turungun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Erdiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, La banda River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Francisco Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of La banda River Plate booed when Turungun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Benicio Mannie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casimiro Urtats. Benicio Mannie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 33 minutes into the match, Turungun's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Rexino came free, but Casimiro Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La banda River Plate's Lorenzo Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. La banda River Plate's Ladislao Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Pueblo in the 43rd minute of play.

If Benicio Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Gil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Mannie hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Benicio Mannie fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. If Benicio Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Cristos in the 72nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Dalmau during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La banda River Plate getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lorenzo Dalmau hit a great ball. Fulgencio Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Erdiano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Turungun booed when La banda River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Pueblo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ladislao Gil made a huge save. Turungun played a much better game than La banda River Plate and deserved their victory. The La banda River Plate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
