Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonzalo Eliazar started the match with the kick off. Sosa AFC's Leopoldo Jax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sosa AFC from getting a goal against them. Quijana AFC's Celedonio Silvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Opilano in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Ciriaco Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Gonzalo Eliazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Eliazar in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Silvino saved Quijana AFC from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Gonzalo Eliazar made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Silvino. Quijana AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Eliazar in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Silvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Silvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Opilano in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Sosa AFC booed when Quijana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Baleren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Quijana AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cristobal Espiridion hit a great ball. Gonzalo Eliazar struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Celedonio Silvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sosa AFC. Celedonio Silvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Eliazar in the 34th minute of play. Carlos Gabino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Jax made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Eliazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Silvino was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Leopoldo Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Pagomari in the 41st minute of play. After 41 played minutes Sosa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Aragones. The supporters of Quijana AFC booed when Sosa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Moises Munio came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Quijana AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Munio couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Pagomari to make the kick off. Carlos Gabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leopoldo Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Ciro Abarca from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Celedonio Silvino's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Carlos Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Jax having to interfere. Leopoldo Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Gonzalo Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Tomas Pagomari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celedonio Silvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Ciro Abarca sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Celedonio Silvino threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ciro Abarca this time. Gonzalo Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Celedonio Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Baleren's late challenge caught a Sosa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Baleren helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Geronimo Aragones in the 85th minute really tested Celedonio Silvino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With his leg Celedonio Silvino managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Sosa AFC's Gonzalo Eliazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Quijana AFC's Celedonio Silvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Opilano in the 87th minute of play. Gonzalo Eliazar let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 94th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. Sosa AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
