Pastor Ricart's late challenge caught a CONTROL F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. CONTROL F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Nayely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Dante James who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Longchamps's Eleuterio Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CONTROL F.C.'s Amado Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Viator in the 30th minute of play. Eleuterio Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Felix Nayely sent off a good shot on target. Eleuterio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Viator in the 40th minute of play forced CONTROL F.C.'s goalkeeper Amado Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The CONTROL F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Longchamps were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd minute of the match CONTROL F.C. got a corner. Longchamps's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Jacob ran over to the corner to take the kick. CONTROL F.C.'s Amado Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Torres in the 56th minute of play. CONTROL F.C.'s Amado Walme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save CONTROL F.C. from getting a goal against them. Valentin Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Amado Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante James in the 62nd minute of play forced Longchamps's goalkeeper Eleuterio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Dante James cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eleuterio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute of the match Godfredo Illart shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Walme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Longchamps's Valentin Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Walme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Felix Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
