In the 15th minute, Gualterio Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guido Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Bocayuva FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Gabon couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Godfredo Lucian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İhsan Sarih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Santos Laurgain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villanueba F.C and the Bocayuva FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santos Laurgain hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Bocayuva FC's goalkeeper İhsan Sarih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Fagondo. In the 33rd minute, Villanueba F.C's Godfredo Lucian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind İhsan Sarih. İhsan Sarih yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, Silvano Fagondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İhsan Sarih. Bocayuva FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvano Fagondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Barto was the one to do the kick off. Nicanor Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Bocayuva FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Gabon. In the 58th match minute, Bocayuva FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Sergi to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Silvano Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İhsan Sarih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bocayuva FC defense, Godfredo Lucian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İhsan Sarih. The Bocayuva FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İhsan Sarih should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Nicanor Barto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İhsan Sarih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İhsan Sarih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes Villanueba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Fagondo. Villanueba F.C made a substitution. Victorio Ekain replaced Godfredo Lucian. Gualterio Sergi hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Barto in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İhsan Sarih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bocayuva FC booed when Villanueba F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bocayuva FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
