Eliseo Otsando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ceandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes, Ceferino Orlondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los 33 Orientales and the Ampolla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceferino Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Chumo got free with Aquilino Diagur in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Ampolla's Armando Blai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Dario Tono made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Otsando. Ampolla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Armando Blai took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Aquilino Diagur to make any attempt to save it. After 30 played minutes Los 33 Orientales got a freekick which was hit by Matias Calixto. Aquilino Diagur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clodoveo Matia. Armando Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Diagur having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Isidro Chumo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aquilino Diagur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Los 33 Orientales's Dario Tono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Otsando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Tono to make the kick off. Federico Tadzio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Dario Tono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Otsando having to make a save. 61 minutes into the game, Isidro Chumo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampolla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los 33 Orientales the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Ampolla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Chumo to maneuver through the defense. When Camilo Cordarrol fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los 33 Orientales's protests and gave Camilo Cordarrol a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Tono was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Los 33 Orientales's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sebastian Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Los 33 Orientales booed when Ampolla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los 33 Orientales's goalkeeper Aquilino Diagur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Los 33 Orientales's Cristo Marcones got a free kick in the 85th minute. Armando Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Diagur having to interfere.
