Celestino Ranolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, CBA Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Ranolfo came free, but Bernabe Bilbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ceferino Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañarito's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Handi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Bilbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Ranolfo in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Bilbo saved CBA Sports from getting behind. If Ubaldo Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Bikendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
