After a defensive mix-up in Los 33 Orientales's zone, Generoso Bernaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Diagur came out of the goal and Generoso Bernaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristo Marcones helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Los 33 Orientales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Marcones to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Bernaldo in the 66th minute of play forced Los 33 Orientales's goalkeeper Aquilino Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Los 33 Orientales's Cristo Marcones got a free kick in the 87th minute. Sebastian Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lucio Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
