Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michal Gaszynski kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute Michal Gaszynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ramon Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Bastiaro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Eduardo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Gaszynski in the 16th minute of the match. ACF Palermo's Eduardo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Bastiaro in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match ACF Palermo got a corner. Curapaligüé's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melchor Tabor ran over to the corner to take the kick. ACF Palermo's Melchor Tabor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogelio Mitxaut in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Gaszynski in the 23rd minute of play forced ACF Palermo's goalkeeper Eduardo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Curapaligüé fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Curapaligüé's Michal Gaszynski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Unai in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Mitxaut saved Curapaligüé from getting behind. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ivan Selmo sped through ACF Palermo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Stephen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Guillen in the 37th minute of play forced ACF Palermo's goalkeeper Eduardo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Michal Gaszynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Mitxaut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Betadur in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Unai was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Curapaligüé's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Unai came free, but Rogelio Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Curapaligüé booed when ACF Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Unai in the 64th minute of the match. Curapaligüé's Michal Gaszynski got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michal Gaszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eduardo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Curapaligüé's Ivan Selmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Stephen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Domingo Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Mitxaut having to interfere. Serafin Romelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Unai struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rogelio Mitxaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACF Palermo. Michal Gaszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eduardo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Stephen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Gaszynski went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Curapaligüé played a much better game than ACF Palermo and deserved their victory. The ACF Palermo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
