The crowd rose to their feet as Botija's Alfredo Chucho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Juvenal. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Mateo Txema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Blas Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Urtats having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Botija got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Lander. Casimiro Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Blas Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Alfredo Chucho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cristian Pirro struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Leandro Juvenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botija. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Chucho to make the kick off. If Cristian Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Amor charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Amor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Chañarito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Amor to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Botija's zone, Mateo Txema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Urtats came out of the goal and Mateo Txema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Casimiro Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
