Leandro Juvenal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 15 minutes, Guido Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACF Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Armando Rodas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ACF Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chañarito FC the free kick. Armando Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Mateo Txema got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Faro in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the ACF Palermo defense, Mateo Txema kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Stephen. The ACF Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Stephen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Otsando in the 48th minute of play forced Chañarito FC's goalkeeper Leandro Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Unai made a kick off. Eduardo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Faro in the 54th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Casimiro Faro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ACF Palermo's Eduardo Stephen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ACF Palermo's Armando Rodas got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Armando Rodas off the ground. Armando Rodas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Chañarito FC's Mateo Txema got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Stephen having to interfere. Florencio Porfiro, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mateo Txema kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Casimiro Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, ACF Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Txema came free, but Eduardo Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Txema struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Eduardo Stephen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañarito FC. Eduardo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Txema in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of ACF Palermo booed when Chañarito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chañarito FC had played much better football throughout.
