But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Papo couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Fertus having to interfere. Lucio Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Crispo in the 46th minute of play. The BayernMünchen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kracatunga FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Jakue to make the kick off. Lucio Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alvaro Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
