Geronimo Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Fausto Cesaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Fertus having to make a save. If Fausto Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Julian Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Marz in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Olimpia Juniors's goalkeeper Aldo Luar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Papo. Lucio Fertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Marz in the 32nd minute of the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpia Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delmar Dacio was slow to take the kick. During this time Kracatunga FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Kracatunga FC's corner Delmar Dacio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aldo Luar quite easily take care of the ball. Julian Marz struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Lucio Fertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpia Juniors. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Marz to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpia Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delmar Dacio was slow to take the kick. During this time Kracatunga FC's players had a chance to rest. Samuel Sazon was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alvaro Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Julian Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingo Jakue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Papo in the 67th minute of play forced Olimpia Juniors's goalkeeper Aldo Luar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kracatunga FC's Alvaro Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kracatunga FC's Aurelio Brion got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Lucio Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Marz in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute Alvaro Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Luar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Domingo Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpia Juniors's Aldo Luar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Cesaro got free with Lucio Fertus in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Jakue struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Aldo Luar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kracatunga FC. Alvaro Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Aldo Luar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
