Galleta's Teofilo Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Armando Jon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Quintyn in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Jon in the 18th minute of play forced duraznito's goalkeeper Ulises Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Feliciano Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ulises Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Neto having to interfere. When duraznito's Emanuel Steven in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Isidoro Tello guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of duraznito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galleta:s goal. Feliciano Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Neto having to interfere. Santiago Arnalt charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Arnalt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to duraznito getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Santiago Arnalt hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliciano Quintyn was the one to do the kick off. If Armando Jon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Armando Jon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of duraznito booed when Galleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Godfredo Haitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidoro Tello skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Tello having to interfere. Teofilo Rio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Isidoro Tello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Steven's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 79 minutes into the match, duraznito's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Quintyn came free, but Ulises Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes duraznito got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Odol. Armando Jon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ulises Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Quintyn in the 86th minute of play forced duraznito's goalkeeper Ulises Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Armando Jon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galleta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Feliciano Quintyn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Feliciano Quintyn came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Galleta fans jumped to their feet. Feliciano Quintyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The duraznito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galleta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
