Nestor Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in El Taladro de Chivilcoy's zone, Reynaldo Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Ongile came out of the goal and Reynaldo Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Tab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Los Andes de la A players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Taladro de Chivilcoy were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Thomas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Atilano Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Andes de la A's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Tirso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Ongile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Andes de la A's Nestor Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Txerran in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Tirso in the 68th minute of play forced El Taladro de Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Fabian Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Txerran, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Taladro de Chivilcoy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
