But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Uxio couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Bonifacio Uxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Camerino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Lisandro Tano made a huge save. Bonifacio Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Academia's Epifanio Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Uxio in the 20th minute of play. Eustacio Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Tano having to interfere. Epifanio Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Aguilera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Bonifacio Uxio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garry FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Uxio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Cambranes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garry FC's Lisandro Tano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Garry FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Aguilera to strike the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Tano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Lano's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Garry FC's Ovidio Guillem got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Garry FC defense, Arsenio Bernat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Tano. The Garry FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Tano should have stopped the shot. Victoriano Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes La Academia got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Cordarrel. After a defensive mix-up in La Academia's zone, Damaso Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Cambranes came out of the goal and Damaso Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Damaso Aguilera came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Garry FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Aguilera couldn't finish the play. Lisandro Tano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victoriano Lano went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Academia's goalkeeper Epifanio Cambranes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victoriano Lano struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Lisandro Tano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Academia. Victoriano Lano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lisandro Tano having to make a save. Santiago Romano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Epifanio Cambranes. La Academia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Victoriano Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Academia had won after a very even match.
