If Froilan Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melero AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Santiago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Faustino Magdaleno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Santiago. Melero AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Magdaleno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 18 played minutes Melero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Satordi. In the 19th minute, Fernan Mattin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Melero AFC's Norberto Santiago didn't even have to move. Norberto Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Magdaleno in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Haase was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Mattin to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes, Jonas Eliu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haase and the Melero AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Eliu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A hard shot 29 in the game by Alfredo Xabat from a close distance when the talented Cristian Juvenal managed to make a qualified save. Haase's players were relieved. In the 41stth minute of the game Faustino Magdaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melero AFC's Norberto Santiago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Luken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Luken in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Juvenal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alfredo Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Mincho in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Norberto Santiago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Luken, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 minutes Melero AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernan Mattin who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Faustino Magdaleno got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 67 minutes into the match. After 74th play minutes Marciano Luken shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Cristian Juvenal and just under the crossbar into goal. If Marciano Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Xabat in the 93rd minute of play. Alfredo Xabat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Juvenal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Haase walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
