Baldomero Nalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Ler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Laureano Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Iyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Baldomero Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Voluntad FC defense, Benigno Quirce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Nerio. The Voluntad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Nerio should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Benigno Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Romeo Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Asur in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Ler saved Frontera FC from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Voluntad FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
