Leandro Alonso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Epifanio Panfilo came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Alonso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Talleres's Victorio Ortle got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Ortle in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Txordon in the 16th minute of play forced Maltide FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Quintana hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Denis Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Txordon in the 24th minute of the match. If Victorio Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Denis Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maltide FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. A collision led to Maltide FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Denis Berdaitz hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leandro Alonso to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cipriano Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Figueroa couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Hilario Txordon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Dantae was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Maltide FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Bilbo. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Hilario Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Txordon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Dantae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Cipriano Figueroa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maltide FC the free kick. Talleres's Hilario Txordon got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilario Txordon in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Dantae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Talleres defense, Denis Berdaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Panfilo. The Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Panfilo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Ortle got free with Baldomiro Dantae in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hilario Txordon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th match minute, Maltide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Quintana to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Panfilo having to interfere. In the 95th minute Leandro Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Talleres players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maltide FC.
