Cristobal Paulin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fernando Harkaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 34 played minutes Forja Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Harkaitz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Goito in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Paulin saved Me Duele El Higo from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Me Duele El Higo's Leandro Vistruario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Beltza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Forja Fútbol Club's Atilano Beltza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Madaleno in the 43rd minute of play.

Cesar Urritz struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Atilano Beltza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Me Duele El Higo. In the 63rd minute, Arnulfo Egoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Beltza was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Cristobal Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Goito in the 69th minute of play. Severino Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Paulin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Vistruario in the 78th minute of play forced Forja Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Atilano Beltza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Goito in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Paulin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Me Duele El Higo defense, Jonathan Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Paulin. The Me Duele El Higo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Paulin should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Forja Fútbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Me Duele El Higo throughout the match.
