If Arturo Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Douglas Björkqvist in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 11 minutes in the game, Douglas Björkqvist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Errolan having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Capioví FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Errolan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Björkqvist. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquilino Maxin during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Capioví FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Maxin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Capioví FC's zone, Douglas Björkqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Errolan came out of the goal and Douglas Björkqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Maxin in the 25th minute of play. Erubiel Artal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Aquilino Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Björkqvist kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Capioví FC's keeper Jonathan Errolan was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 39th match minute, Capioví FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Douglas Björkqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Errolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomás Tartalo made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Douglas Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Errolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Björkqvist's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After having played for 62 minutes, David Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chepes's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Tab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Capioví FC's Jonathan Errolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Björkqvist in the 66th minute of play. Arturo Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Lidon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chepes getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arturo Lidon hit a great ball. Severino Sanduru struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ernesto Iaki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capioví FC. Chants of Capioví FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Chepes had held the ball for most of the match.
