In the 17th minute Arnulfo Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Astor Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. San Lorenzo De Almagro's Ceferino Playo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ceferino Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gilberto Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Arnulfo Costante fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, river plate666's Gilberto Gustau got control of the ball when Ceferino Playo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaime Ignazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of river plate666:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Lorenzo De Almagro:s goal. The goalkeeper, Gilberto Gustau, was totally fooled by San Lorenzo De Almagro's Salvador Berenguer, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Ignazio made a kick off. Ceferino Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gilberto Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Ceferino Playo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but river plate666's Gilberto Gustau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes, Lucas Iraunkor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the river plate666 and the San Lorenzo De Almagro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to river plate666 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lucas Iraunkor hit a great ball. river plate666's Gilberto Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Playo in the 63rd minute of play. During the 64th minute of the match Lucas Iraunkor completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lucas Iraunkor a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 65 played minutes river plate666 got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Iraunkor. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of river plate666:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Lorenzo De Almagro:s goal. The referee gave San Lorenzo De Almagro a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Salvador Berenguer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of river plate666's Gilberto Gustau. 2-0. A collision led to river plate666 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jaime Ignazio hit a great ball. Ceferino Playo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Lesardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Umbruso having to interfere. Arnulfo Costante might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Gustau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnulfo Costante ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arnulfo Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for river plate666! river plate666's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
