Arturo Turi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Sidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ubaldo Sidro fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Atuel FC's protests and gave Ubaldo Sidro a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Martillo Hammer United got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Frasquito. 20 minutes into the game, Baltasar George was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martillo Hammer United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Atuel FC the free kick. A collision led to Martillo Hammer United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Efrain Gabon hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Gaudencio Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Turi having to interfere. Herminio Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Havier having to interfere. Baltasar George kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Martillo Hammer United booed when Villa Atuel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Azeari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes, Martillo Hammer United's Ambrosio Sal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emiliano Havier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Martillo Hammer United reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herminio Etxahun to strike the kick off in the second half. When Isidoro Remigio fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ubaldo Sidro got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ubaldo Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Baltasar George cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Emiliano Havier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Villa Atuel FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Damaso Fagondo hit a great ball. Baltasar George recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prudencio Evangelista struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Emiliano Havier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martillo Hammer United. Rigoberto Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Herminio Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Emiliano Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Turi came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Atuel FC's Gaudencio Liher. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Liher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Liher got free with Arturo Turi in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
