Amador Furman scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Havier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ubaldo Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Atuel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Sedeni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ciro Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Ubaldo Sidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Vino Tinto's Ciro Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Arnulfo Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Alberto Loiola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Atuel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Loiola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Sedeni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Villa Atuel FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Vino Tinto were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafet Uyguner to make the kick off. Emiliano Havier made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ciro Demesio sent off a good shot on target. Rafet Uyguner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Amador Furman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emiliano Havier. The goal made the score 0-2. After 67 minutes, Arnulfo Piearres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Vino Tinto and the Villa Atuel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Sidro in the 73rd minute of play forced La Vino Tinto's goalkeeper Niceto Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emiliano Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Vino Tinto's Niceto Sedeni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Liher in the 90th minute of play. Celso Honrio took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Sedeni. Niceto Sedeni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a little luck, Villa Atuel FC's Emiliano Havier got control of the ball when Ciro Demesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Vino Tinto succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Villa Atuel FC had controlled the match.
