The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Admon couldn't finish the play. After having played for 6 minutes, Sebastian Harriet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YaWeeeeey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Harriet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Vincente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Txindoki in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Eusebio Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Txindoki in the 21st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Sebastian Harriet made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Oto. Zapallar AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Evelio Oto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Bartolo Admon took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Evelio Oto to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Perico to make the kick off. Tiburcio Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Bartolo Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Ernesto Orland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Celino's late challenge caught a YaWeeeeey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Celino helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Zapallar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Celino. If Arnoldo Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, YaWeeeeey's Zacarias Vincente got control of the ball when Eusebio Ubarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. YaWeeeeey's Zacarias Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Checa in the 83rd minute of play. Evelio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Eyague in the 90th minute of play forced Zapallar AFC's goalkeeper Evelio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
