If Aristides Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Baristo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jairo Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Prospero Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Brun in the 24th minute of the match. Deportivo VIlla Elisa's Prospero Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Brun in the 28th minute of play. If Rogelio Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Celipe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Prospero Vasco made a huge save. After 33 played minutes Deportivo VIlla Elisa got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Ekain. A collision led to Deportivo VIlla Elisa getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Astor Frisco hit a great ball. With a little luck, Deportivo VIlla Elisa's Prospero Vasco got control of the ball when Jairo Celipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo VIlla Elisa's Prospero Vasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo VIlla Elisa from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Brun to strike the kick off in the second half. Prospero Vasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Celipe's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo VIlla Elisa's zone, Aristides Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Vasco came out of the goal and Aristides Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Rogelio Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo VIlla Elisa's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Hurko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferrari SPC's Aristides Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Celipe in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Deportivo VIlla Elisa's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Celipe came free, but Prospero Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Quirze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Hurko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ferrari SPC's Cosme Erroman got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Claris in the 72nd minute of play forced Deportivo VIlla Elisa's goalkeeper Prospero Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Aristides Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Poncio in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nunez Hurko saved Ferrari SPC from getting behind. Aristides Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Nunez Hurko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Ferrari SPC booed when Deportivo VIlla Elisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Frisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo VIlla Elisa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
