To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Jaen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Nothingham City's Anselmo Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Bikendi in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Marciano Vermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Jorge Sol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Silvio Bikendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Txindoki. Nothingham City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvio Bikendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Nothingham City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Vermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marciano Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alberto Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Medardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Vermudo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. When Lázaro Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Nothingham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Cutberto couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes of play, Nothingham City's Marciano Vermudo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Medardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marciano Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. Siro Evarado's late challenge caught a Tambillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Evarado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Siro Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nothingham City fully deserved thier win.
