After a defensive mix-up in Santos F.C.'s zone, Patricio Nastasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Jatsu came out of the goal and Patricio Nastasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cristobal Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Armando Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Irrintzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristobal Gasteiz went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute, Guaberto Belarmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Irrintzi having to interfere. When Santos F.C.'s Erubiel Sansone in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pituil's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Celio made a kick off. Pituil's Mateo Arnas suffered a sore thigh after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 52 minutes, Erubiel Sansone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos F.C. and the Pituil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Erubiel Sansone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erubiel Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristobal Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Erubiel Sansone was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. In the 96th match minute, Santos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Sansone to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Santos F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pituil.
