An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Iliana in the 17th minute of play forced Pituil's goalkeeper German Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Belarmo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Vicente Rayman made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Patricio Nastasio sent off a good shot on target. Vicente Rayman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Nastasio in the 27th minute. Vicente Rayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Celio in the 31st minute of the match. If Arnoldo Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, New Castle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Celio came free, but Vicente Rayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of New Castle FC booed when Pituil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Celio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pituil's Cristian Orlondon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vicente Rayman but with some difficulty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Celio made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Patricio Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituil's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Nastasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Rayman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Celio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vicente Rayman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pituil's German Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Iliana in the 60th minute of play. Vicente Rayman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Nastasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Arnoldo Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Rayman having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Pituil's goalkeeper German Irrintzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Sagrario. German Irrintzi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Leonides Sagrario sent off a good shot on target. When Leonides Sagrario came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the New Castle FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Sagrario couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Iliana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Irrintzi having to make a save.
