Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erubiel Sansone got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Eustaquio Lapurdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Sansone, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Hipolito Berto came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Santos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Berto couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Erasmo Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Benino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateo Lia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Sansone's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Constantino Edur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Lia having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Eustaquio Lapurdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the Santos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Maravilla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santos F.C.:s goal. Danilo Lehen scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Lia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 minutes of play, Santos F.C.'s Cristobal Gasteiz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Lia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Cristobal Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hipolito Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maravilla's Mateo Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Sansone in the 38th minute of play. Cristobal Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Mateo Lia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos F.C.. If Erubiel Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Mateo Lia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 48 minutes, Eusebio Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Firman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Firman was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Santos F.C.'s Erasmo Benino got a free kick in the 54th minute. Armando Jatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Peru in the 55th minute of the match. Lorenzo Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Jatsu having to interfere. Erubiel Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Mateo Lia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Hipolito Berto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Santos F.C.'s Angelino Umea got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Santos F.C.'s Hipolito Berto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateo Lia. Mateo Lia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Mateo Lia was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Erubiel Sansone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erubiel Sansone really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 84th minute, Eusebio Firman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mateo Lia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos F.C.. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Sansone got free with Mateo Lia in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erasmo Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Lia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Erubiel Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Sansone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Maravilla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Santos F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
