Honorato Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Ibon having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Honorato Licerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Ibon made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Uriel Patrido sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bañado AFC booed when Campana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Uriel Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Rius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Dolfos during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bañado AFC booed when Campana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Dolfos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Licerio charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Licerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Honorato Licerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campana's Tobias Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Rius in the 29th minute of play. Leo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melchor Rius was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Bañado AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Melchor Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tobias Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Leo Merexildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Frasquito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Campana were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prudencio Montrel made a kick off. Melchor Rius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Rius in the 62nd minute of play forced Campana's goalkeeper Tobias Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bañado AFC's Honorato Licerio in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Campana's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Bañado AFC defense, Gregorio Argider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Frasquito. The Bañado AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Frasquito should have stopped the shot. Tobias Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Rius in the 76th minute of play. Leo Merexildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Frasquito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Merexildo ran back to his position shaking his head. Prudencio Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Honorato Licerio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bañado AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Licerio couldn't finish the play.
