Lagunilla AFC:s Emilio Vellito showed great skill when he stopped Candido Clodio:s penalty. Alejo Bastiaro's late challenge caught a Bañado AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Bastiaro helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Lagunilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Bastiaro. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunilla AFC's zone, Melchor Rius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Vellito came out of the goal and Melchor Rius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Bañado AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florencio Playo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bañado AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
