If Jeronimo Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match La vuelta en Globo got a corner. El Gato Lopez FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimiro Txatxu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edelmiro Cloyo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Gato Lopez FC's Teofilo Nardo did a great save. Teofilo Nardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La vuelta en Globo.
