Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melchor Rius kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Bañado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Oso. Eulalio Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Bañado AFC's Melchor Rius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Asteri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eulalio Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Frasquito having to interfere. Gabriel Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Rius in the 13th minute of play. Amado Quin's late challenge caught a Bañado AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Quin helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Keith Richards project RC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Quin. Gabriel Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Licerio in the 21st minute of play. If Prospero Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Frasquito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Iyan in the 28th minute. Honorato Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Rius might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Asteri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Rius ran back to his position shaking his head. If Prospero Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Bañado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Araoz came free, but Cornelio Frasquito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Bañado AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cornelio Frasquito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Keith Richards project RC defense, Honorato Licerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Asteri. The Keith Richards project RC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Asteri should have stopped the shot. If Cleto Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bañado AFC's Uriel Patrido got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Uriel Patrido off the ground. In the 80th match minute, Bañado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Frasquito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Iyan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Eulalio Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bañado AFC's Cornelio Frasquito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Mede in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Araoz in the 95th minute of play forced Bañado AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Frasquito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Eulalio Araoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Iyan took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Frasquito. Cornelio Frasquito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
