Robustiano Rumaldo started the match with the kick off. When Mateo Herrera came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lagunilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Herrera couldn't finish the play. Emilio Vellito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Rumaldo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Filiberto Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Herrera during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateo Herrera hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Lagunilla AFC's Emilio Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Kaiet in the 23rd minute of play. Emilio Vellito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lagunilla AFC's Emilio Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Kaiet in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Altamira booed when Lagunilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Playo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Rumaldo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Emilio Vellito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altamira. Robustiano Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Emilio Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Lagunilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Rumaldo came free, but Emilio Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Cresencio having to interfere. Filiberto Kaiet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nicasio Arnalt fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagunilla AFC's protests and gave Nicasio Arnalt a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Lagunilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Arnalt. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Filiberto Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Vellito having to interfere. After having played for 53 minutes, Florencio Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunilla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Fidel Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Nicasio Arnalt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmiro Cresencio skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Playo in the 64th minute of play forced Altamira's goalkeeper Delmiro Cresencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Bastiaro's late challenge caught a Altamira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Bastiaro helped the player get up and apologised. Lagunilla AFC's Emilio Vellito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Lagunilla AFC from getting a goal against them. Emilio Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Rumaldo in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunilla AFC's zone, Robustiano Rumaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Vellito came out of the goal and Robustiano Rumaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robustiano Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Emilio Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Filiberto Kaiet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Vellito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Robustiano Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
