Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Astudillo to make the kick off. Feliberto Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Gaueko kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Puntanos's Siro Gonzales got a free kick in the 58th minute. Emilio Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Astudillo in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Astudillo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Vellito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feliberto Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Lagunilla AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Vellito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Astudillo. Ruben Emmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Astudillo couldn't finish the play.
