Club Atletico Puntanos's Feliberto Astudillo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Rius in the 11th minute of the match. Feliberto Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cornelio Frasquito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Patrido in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Uriel Patrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bañado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Puntanos the free kick. Candido Clodio, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Feliberto Astudillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bañado AFC's Cornelio Frasquito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Atletico Puntanos's Simon Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Frasquito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feliberto Astudillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. Cornelio Frasquito stood somewhat misplaced when Feliberto Astudillo came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Feliberto Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bañado AFC's Cornelio Frasquito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Gonzales in the 94th minute of play. Bañado AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
