The audience was convinced that Celso Fidencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Hori was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. La Pandilla's Leon Ourente got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Macri Gato AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Ourente came free, but Rolando Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Fidencio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Rolando Hori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Pandilla. After having played for 32 minutes, Celso Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pandilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Fidencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Macri Gato AFC's Leo Evis got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, La Pandilla's Leon Ourente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Fidencio in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Hori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rolando Hori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 52nd match minute, Macri Gato AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Batista to maneuver through the defense. If Leon Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
