Eduardo Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Calixto in the 16th minute of play. Rafael Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Aimar in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Mateo Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Oalo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Ismael Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Araujo AFC's Rafael Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Aimar in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Araujo AFC's zone, Mateo Aimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Faro came out of the goal and Mateo Aimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes, Roque Ekialde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araujo AFC and the michitos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roque Ekialde hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Mateo Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Matias Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araujo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Maule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cirilo Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cirilo Gora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Genaro Quilo lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Rafael Faro. Genaro Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rafael Faro made a huge save. Cirilo Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute of the match, Genaro Quilo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Faro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. michitos were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
